As the City of South Milwaukee celebrates its history with Heritage Week, the Chamber’s Evening on the Avenue event has become an important part of the tradition. In July, two blocks of South Milwaukee’s main street, Milwaukee Avenue, close to vehicular traffic to host the City’s largest block party. Area merchants, member businesses and community groups enjoy the opportunity to display goods and services as they interact with residents and visitors.
| Entertainment includes live bands, children’s activities, and food and beverage vendors. In recent years, the South Milwaukee Downtown Market has increased the draw to the area with offerings of fresh local produce and other specialty items. This is a great chance to increase your exposure to residents and visitors alike! The Chamber invites you to come and join them with a booth or sponsor the band or children’s events with a banner.
